Job summary

Allied Universal in Omaha, NE is hiring a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Observation to protect clients across industries. You will monitor and deter incidents, provide exceptional customer service, and maintain a visible security presence at a technology-focused location.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required; valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access activity and verify authorized entry per site-specific procedures; assist visitors and deliveries.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and escalate concerns to site contacts or leadership.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and daily activities using reporting tools and maintain professional communication.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.


• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.


• Monitor access activity and verify authorized entry in accordance with site-specific procedures; provide directions and support for visitors and deliveries.


• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.


• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and daily activities through required reporting tools and maintain professional communication with site personnel.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
