Allied Universal in Council Bluffs, IA is seeking a Full Time Unarmed Security Officer to monitor and protect a technology, data infrastructure site. You will perform routine patrols, verify access, document activity, and provide courteous service to employees and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology and data infrastructure location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas, reporting unusual conditions and potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, observing visitor and contractor activity, and documenting entries and exits in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoffs while helping to deter unauthorized access and supporting the continuity of technology operations.

• Wed 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Thur 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
