Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Mobile Security Patrol in Omaha, NE. You will guard clients across tech/media/telecom sectors, perform routine patrols, deter incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service in a welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements per state/local laws; may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout office areas, common spaces, parking areas, loading zones, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials in accordance with site procedures, and document entries, incidents, and observations in required reports.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation procedures and communicating with site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Help maintain a professional presence that supports a welcoming environment while helping to deter unauthorized access and security-related concerns.

Pay Rate: $18.80 / Hour

• Wed 12:00 AM - 04:00 AM
• Thur 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
• Fri 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
• Sat 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
• Sun 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
