Job summary

Allied Universal in Omaha, NE is seeking a Security Officer (Full Time, Unarmed) to protect a food production site. You will provide customer service to employees and visitors, monitor access, respond to alarms, and patrol facilities to deter unauthorized activity.

Key responsibilities include communicating clearly with staff, following post orders, and escalating security concerns as needed. The role requires a high school diploma and the ability to lift up to 20 pounds; prior alarm or badge

Qualifications

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a food production location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and reporting protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouse spaces, offices, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and document entries, incidents, and unusual conditions in accordance with site procedures.
• Support a professional working environment by communicating clearly with site personnel, responding to questions, and escalating security-related concerns to appropriate contacts.

Pay Rate: $18.45 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Tue: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Wed: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun: 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
