Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Monitoring in Georgetown, DE. As a Part-Time Officer, you will patrol government facilities, maintain visibility, and respond professionally to incidents, helping deter security-related issues.

You will deliver customer service, log activities, and work with a team to ensure a welcoming, safe environment. The role offers daytime shifts and opportunities to grow with our training and benefits programs.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public at a government location by carrying out security-related procedures and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of government facilities, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to identify hazards and policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials as required, maintaining logs and reports.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly and professionally; notify appropriate personnel and emergency services as directed.
• Document observations and communicate information to leadership and site contacts.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public at a government location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of government facilities, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, verify credentials when assigned, and maintain accurate logs and reports.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and public emergency services as directed.
• Document observations, incidents, and completed patrols, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
