Qualifications

• Two years of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screening may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and property management staff while following site policies and security procedures.
• Respond to incidents and access concerns in a calm, reporting and escalation framework.
• Conduct regular patrols of building interiors, exteriors, parking areas, access points, and perimeters.
• Monitor and document access activity, visitor and contractor arrivals and deliveries per site rules.
• Prepare accurate incident reports and communicate observations to leadership and site contacts.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or property management personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns.
• Monitor and document access activity, visitor and contractor arrivals, and deliveries in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Prepare accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and patrol documentation, and communicate relevant observations to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements

• Have at least two years of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
