Qualifications

• At least two years of security-related experience.
• 18+ years for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required per state/local laws.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Crime Prevention in San Jose, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will document observations, respond to security-related concerns, and work collaboratively with site personnel. • Wed 04:00 PM - 12:30 AM
• Thur 04:00 PM - 12:30 AM
• Fri 04:00 PM - 12:30 AM
• Sat 04:00 PM - 12:30 AM
• Sun 04:00 PM - 12:30 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a semiconductor technology location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, manufacturing-adjacent areas, parking locations, building perimeters, and other assigned areas to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and report access-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation protocols.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least two years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
