Job summary

Allied Universal in Roanoke, VA is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Inspection. You will protect client sites, deter security incidents, and provide exceptional customer service while reporting observations and maintaining a professional presence.

Responsibilities include routine patrols, monitoring access, and responding to incidents. Must be 18+ with HS diploma, pass background and drug screenings; a valid driver's license may be required for driving roles.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and document entries, exits, and deliveries as required.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, service calls, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and public emergency responders when needed.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
