Allied Universal in Reno, NV is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Inspection to protect client sites across technology, media and telecom locations. You will perform routine patrols, maintain visibility, monitor access points, and deliver professional customer service.

This full-time role requires 18+ (21+ for armed), a high school diploma, background check and drug screen, and a valid driver's license where applicable.

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Inspection in Reno, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a technology, media, and telecommunications location while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, assisting with visitor screening, credential verification, and access-control processes as assigned.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns and coordinating with site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and logs regarding patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
