Job summary

Allied Universal in Brownsville, TX seeks a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Inspection to monitor production areas, deter incidents, and provide friendly service to employees and visitors. You will conduct foot/vehicle patrols, verify access, and log activity while supporting a caring, agile, reliable team that puts people first.

As a full-time position with a night schedule, you will report incidents per site rules and collaborate with security staff.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation and drug screen required by Allied Universal.
• Licensing requirements may be needed depending on state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security procedures and site rules.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations calmly and according to procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, and perimeters.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor/contractor authorization, and maintain logs of activity.
• Complete detailed incident and daily activity reports and handoffs per site requirements.

Pay Rate: $10.00 / Hour

• Mon 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM
• Tue 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM
• Fri 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM
• Sat 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM
• Sun 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, loading docks, and the facility perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate logs for arrivals, departures, deliveries, and other site activity.
• Complete detailed incident reports, daily activity reports, and shift handoff communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
