Job summary

Allied Universal in De Soto, KS is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Incident Documentation. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications site.

The position is full time, paid at $22.28 per hour with evening shifts, and requires at least one year of security experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to pass background checks and drug

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed by site procedures, and report unusual conditions to the appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required activity logs for patrols, incidents, and security-related observations.

• Thur 02:45 PM - 11:15 PM
• Fri 02:45 PM - 11:15 PM
• Sat 02:45 PM - 11:15 PM
• Sun 02:45 PM - 11:15 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
