Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring an Unarmed Patrol Communications Security Officer for Olive Branch, MS. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, deter incidents, manage access control, and provide excellent customer service to clients, visitors, and employees.

This full-time role requires a HS diploma, 18+ (or 21+ for armed roles), background check, and drug screen.

Qualifications

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, grounds, parking, and access points.
• Monitor access activity and assist with visitor and contractor entry procedures.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly and document observations.
• Maintain detailed activity logs and shift handoff communications.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Communications in Olive Branch, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, manage access control and badge-related activities, and provide exceptional customer service. Use computer or tablet tools to document security-related activity and communicate professionally. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Tue 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Wed 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Thur 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, contractors, and/or employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of technology facility interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access activity and assist with visitor and contractor entry procedures in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
• Maintain detailed activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
