Job summary

Allied Universal, in Hermiston, Oregon, seeks an Unarmed Security Officer for full-time graveyard shifts. You will patrol the site, deter incidents, and provide excellent customer service to employees, drivers, visitors, and vendors.

• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly and notify appropriate contacts or responders.
• Document observations and incidents in clear, accurate reports.

Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour

Job Schedule: Mon 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM; Tue 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM; Wed 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM; Thur 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM; Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, drivers, visitors, and vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a freight distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for personnel, visitors, and vehicles entering or leaving the property in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Document observations, patrol activity, incidents, and policy violations in clear, accurate reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
