Allied Universal in Concord, NC is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol First Aid Response at Amazon Warehouse to safeguard clients and provide exceptional service in a fast-paced tech location. This full-time position pays $18.36 per hour and requires a high school diploma with preferred CPR/First Aid certification and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology and media location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office spaces, exterior areas, parking facilities, loading docks, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and assist with access-control procedures in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and communicate relevant information to site leadership and emergency responders as needed.
• Maintain detailed activity logs and incident reports, and support a professional, welcoming environment while following Allied Universal and site-specific policies.

What You'll Do

Minimum Requirements

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Possession of a Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
