Job summary

Allied Universal in Pineville, NC is seeking a Security Officer (Full Time Unarmed Patrol) to safeguard Amazon Warehouse employees and facilities. You will perform routine patrols, monitor access points, deter incidents, and deliver welcoming customer service.

Responsibilities include responding to alarms, documenting observations, and supporting site procedures with a calm, professional approach. Prior badge control or access experience is a plus; a high school diploma and background check are

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable use of a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions and help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access control points, visitor activity, and security-related systems, reporting irregularities or maintenance concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel as directed.
• Support emergency response activities in accordance with site procedures and Allied Universal training.

Pay Rate: $18.36 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Thur 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable use of a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
