Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Emergency Readiness in DALLAS, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Shelter, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a shelter location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide compassionate customer service and clear communication. You will support a welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and staff while representing Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture through teamwork and integrity.

Pay Rate: $17.78 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, staff, and service providers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the shelter location, including interior common areas, entry points, exterior grounds, and perimeter, to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor and resident entry procedures in accordance with site policies; report unauthorized access, suspicious activity, and facility concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required logs for patrols, incidents, observations, and interactions, while communicating professionally with site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
