As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver Site Inspection in Leesport, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming, secure environment for residents, visitors, and staff. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and document security-related activities while reflecting Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, care, and integrity.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $16.75 / Hour

Security Experience:

• Candidates must have a minimum of 6 months of relevant security experience. This experience should be clearly outlined in the candidate's resume and cover letter.

Valid Driver's License

• All candidates must possess a valid driver's license in accordance with AU Driver Policy Requirements. This is essential for roles that require driving as part of the job responsibilities.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, staff, and members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site personnel and emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with facility procedures, documenting incidents and completing required reports.
• Support a professional, respectful environment by providing directions, assisting with access-related questions, and escalating concerns through established channels.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
