Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring an Unarmed Security Officer (Patrol Driver) in Nashville, TN. The role combines security patrol duties with an on-site driving component, requiring a valid driver's license for the state and a strong commitment to customer service.

You will protect patients, staff and visitors while enforcing site policies and procedures. Typical hours are DayTime, with a 07:00 AM to 03:00 PM shift from Tuesday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license in the job state.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to appropriate hospital personnel and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas, reporting unusual conditions and helping to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, providing directions and assistance as needed.
• Document incidents, patrols, and other security-related activities accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
