Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Must be willing to work in and around morgue areas.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to restrain individuals as required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• As a condition of employment, a background investigation will be conducted.
• A drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, patient and visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with directing visitors in accordance with site-specific access procedures.
• Document incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and report concerns to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Must be willing to work in and around morgue areas.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to restrain individuals as required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
