Job Description
As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Deterrence in Nashville, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment for visitors and personnel. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond professionally to security-related concerns. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to visitors, occupants, and government location personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, access points, and perimeter areas, documenting observations and irregularities.
• Monitor access activity and assist with visitor management in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and complete required reports.
• Help to deter unauthorized activity by maintaining a professional presence and reporting suspicious conditions or behavior to designated contacts.
  

Minimum Requirements

• Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
