As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in an educational setting, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service to students, staff, and visitors. Pay Rate: $19.87 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 06:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Tue: 06:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Wed: 06:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thur: 06:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri: 06:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at an educational arts and music location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate school personnel and/or emergency services as directed by site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of classrooms, common areas, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site policies, helping maintain an orderly environment for educational programs and events.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activities, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
