Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Badge Accountability in Atlanta, GA. This role focuses on protecting clients across commercial real estate sites, performing routine patrols, monitoring access, and providing exceptional customer service to tenants and visitors.

You will work with a team to deter security incidents, document observations, and respond to alarms using site-specific procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of security-related experience.
• Experience with access control and badge systems preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeters.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly following procedures.

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Badge Accountability in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while responding to alarms and using technology to document observations. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific reporting and escalation procedures.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and building information, and report unauthorized access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff communications in accordance with site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 5 years of security-related experience.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
