Job summary

Allied Universal, the leading security and facility services company, seeks an Unarmed Security Officer for a commercial property in Atlanta, GA. • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 5 years of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen are required.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property interiors, exterior areas, parking facilities, entry points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or property concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, providing directions and assistance as needed.
• Document patrol observations, incidents, and maintenance or security-related concerns accurately and promptly, notifying appropriate site contacts when required.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Access Badge Operations in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while responding to alarms and assisting tenants, visitors, and property staff. What You'll Do

Minimum Requirements

• Supervisory experience is required.
• At least 5 years of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
