Allied Universal® is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed Patrol Alarm Assessment) for Morgantown, PA. You will monitor, patrol, and control access while delivering excellent customer service at a manufacturing and industrial site.

Responsibilities include responding to alarms, documenting activities, and maintaining clear reports. Requirements include a high school diploma and willingness to undergo background checks and drug screens.

Qualifications

• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Complete detailed reports, maintain accurate activity logs, and promptly communicate security-related concerns, hazards, and unusual conditions to appropriate personnel.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.25 / Hour

• All candidates must be at least 21 years of age to be considered for employment. This requirement is in place to comply with legal regulations and company policies.

What You’ll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
