Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by following site-specific security procedures.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies in a calm, professional manner and report observations to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in line with site policies while maintaining a professional presence.
• Document incidents, patrols, and observations accurately and promptly per site procedures.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control and badge processes, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $17.64 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Tue: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Wed: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Thur: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner and report observations to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout assigned buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific policies while maintaining a professional, courteous presence.
• Document incidents, patrol activity, and other security-related observations accurately and promptly according to site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
