Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, drivers, and delivery partners by following security procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility grounds, yards, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, directing visitors and drivers, documenting entries/exits, and reporting unauthorized access attempts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner and notify appropriate contacts and responders.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security activities per site procedures.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Credential Integrity in Chantilly, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and assist employees and visitors with professional customer service. You will use computer or tablet systems to document activity and communicate clearly while contributing to a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity.

Pay Rate: $15.12 / Hour

• Thur 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, drivers, and/or delivery partners by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of distribution facility grounds, trailer yards, loading docks, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, directing authorized visitors and drivers, documenting entries and exits, and reporting unauthorized access attempts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities in accordance with site procedures and Allied Universal requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
