As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Access Control in Carthage, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct access control activities, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. Tue - 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Thur - 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Fri - 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Sat - 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities in a food and beverage production location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout production areas, employee entrances, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and document security-related observations, incidents, and patrol activities.
• Support compliance with site rules, including food production access requirements, while communicating professionally with employees, visitors, contractors, and emergency responders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
