Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures and reporting.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entry points, loading areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials; document arrivals, departures, and incidents per site procedures.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and emergencies and communicate observations to site contacts and responders.
• Prepare clear patrol and incident reports while maintaining a professional presence in a dynamic environment.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entry points, loading areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and document arrivals, departures, and unusual incidents according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to appropriate site contacts and emergency responders.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities while maintaining a professional presence in a dynamic communications environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
