Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol First Aid in Houston, TX. You will monitor a commercial property, perform patrols, respond to incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service to tenants and visitors.

The role requires at least two years of security experience; CPR/First Aid is preferred. Schedule includes DayTime Mon–Fri, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM shifts, with a focus on safety and professional

Qualifications

• Two years of security-related experience required.
• CPR and First Aid experience preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property staff by following site procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the property, parking areas, common areas, and perimeters to identify hazards and maintenance concerns.
• Respond to incidents and access concerns in a calm, professional manner, notifying appropriate personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Monitor access points and observe activity in accordance with property procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain activity logs for patrol observations and security concerns.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol First Aid in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a commercial real estate location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents and support a welcoming environment. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to security-related concerns, communicate professionally with tenants and visitors, and provide outstanding customer service. Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or property staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property buildings, parking areas, common areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with property procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain activity logs for patrol observations, incidents, and security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• CPR and First Aid experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
