As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Services in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a retail and mall location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and assist visitors and tenants with outstanding customer service. You will communicate clearly, respond to concerns, and support a welcoming environment while reflecting Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first values through teamwork and integrity.

Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

Mon 11:30 PM - 07:30 AM

Fri 11:30 PM - 07:30 AM

Sat 07:30 PM - 07:30 AM

Sun 07:30 PM - 07:30 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, shoppers, tenants, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail common areas, storefront perimeters, parking areas, and adjacent property boundaries to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
• Monitor access points and observe activity within the location to help support compliance with site rules and report suspicious behavior, property concerns, and policy violations.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain communication with site management, Allied Universal leadership, and/or responding personnel regarding incidents and daily activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
