Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by following site policies and emergency procedures.
• Perform regular unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to deter incidents.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies calmly and professionally per site protocols.
• Monitor access points and assist with directions, staff requests, and reporting of hazards.
• Prepare clear reports of incidents and patrol observations per requirements.

Pre-Employment Requirement: Security Experience - +1 Years (C115)

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facility buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor directions, staff requests, and the reporting of suspicious activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, patrol observations, and security-related activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
