Job summary

Allied Universal in Hastings, NE is seeking an attentive Security Officer Unarmed Patrol to monitor and safeguard client sites across tech/media/telecom locations. You will maintain a visible presence, respond to incidents, and support a welcoming environment while delivering professional customer service.

As a full-time night shift officer, you will patrol buildings, parking areas, and perimeters, document observations, and cooperate with site personnel to deter unauthorized activity applying

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation as required by applicable laws.
• Drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing per state/local laws; drivers license required only for driving positions.

What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating information to appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, documenting observations and incidents through required reporting channels.
• Maintain a professional presence while communicating clearly with site personnel and assisting with routine security-related inquiries.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
