Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Part Time) in Hastings, Nebraska. You will perform unarmed patrols, deter incidents, and provide excellent customer service while maintaining a visible security presence across client sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include being at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and document observations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report suspicious activity or policy violations.
• Complete detailed daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift communications.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report suspicious activity or policy violations.
• Complete detailed daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site‑specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
