Job summary

Allied Universal in Dover, DE is hiring a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol to safeguard clients across multiple industries, including Food/Beverage. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, deter security incidents, and support access control and badge processes while delivering outstanding customer service.

As part of a dedicated team, you will document activity using computer or tablet systems, report irregularities, complete logs and incident reports, and respond calmly to incidents

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in customer service is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage manufacturing location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facility buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, loading docks, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site requirements, documenting observations and reporting irregularities.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation while maintaining awareness of sanitation, restricted-area, and site-specific requirements.

As an Unarmed Security Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help deter security-related incidents, support access control and badge processes, and provide outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
