Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Retail Patrol in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a premier commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will support a welcoming environment for tenants, visitors, and staff while responding to security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, access-related issues, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, common areas, parking facilities, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, hazards, and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity and incident reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least two years of security-related experience.
• Be able to lift more than 20 pounds, preferred.
• Possess a guard card/license, preferred.
• Have customer service experience, preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
