Job Description

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol in BETHESDA, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more .

As an unarmed patrol officer in an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide a reassuring presence. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, responding to situations as they arise, and delivering exceptional customer service through clear communication. You will be part of a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation, always putting people first and acting with integrity in every interaction.

Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Document and report any security-related incidents or unusual activities according to established protocols.
• Assist with access control and monitor entry points to help maintain a secure environment within the location.
• Communicate with site personnel and law enforcement as required during incidents or emergencies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Maryland Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
