You will perform unarmed vehicle and foot patrols at a utilities site, maintain a visible presence, and deliver excellent customer service while enforcing site policies and safety protocols.

Requirements include a valid driver’s license, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by performing security procedures and following site policies.

• Conduct regular vehicle and foot patrols of utilities buildings and surrounding areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, report suspicious activity and maintenance needs to appropriate personnel.
• Complete logs and incident reports per site procedures.

What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate at a utilities location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of utility buildings, access points, equipment areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to assigned areas, observe and report suspicious activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
