Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed - Packaging Facility in Mullins, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to site needs with integrity, reliability, and teamwork while representing Allied Universal's caring culture.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel at a food and beverage production location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, loading docks, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor entry requirements, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Help support orderly operations around shipping, receiving, and employee entry areas while following established food production location protocols.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
