Allied Universal in Torrance, CA is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Mobile Patrol Driver to service clients at a retail plaza. You will conduct vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to visitors, tenants, and staff.

This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and a high school diploma or equivalent, with background checks and drug screening as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of retail common areas, parking areas, perimeter locations, and other assigned areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting maintenance issues, suspicious behavior, and/or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail plaza, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide outstanding customer service to visitors, tenants, and staff. Pay Rate: $16.90 / Hour

Job Schedule: Day Time Mon 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Tue 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's licence is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's licence will be required for driving positions only.
