Job Description

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Medical Facility in Raleigh, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more .

As an unarmed patrol officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, interacting with staff and visitors, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $20.06 / Hour

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or conditions within the location, following established protocols for documentation and communication.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and guiding visitors as needed.
• Support healthcare staff and visitors by providing information and assistance related to security-related matters.
• Participate in emergency response activities, such as evacuations or medical emergencies, in accordance with site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR or First Aid certification is preferred.
• A valid guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
