Job Description

As a Security Officer - Healthcare Patrol Shift in Raleigh, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, providing exceptional customer service, and communicating clearly with staff and visitors. You will contribute to a welcoming environment by responding to situations with professionalism and integrity, working as part of a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation. Your caring approach will help support a positive atmosphere for everyone in the facility.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $20.06 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day	Time
Mon	01:30 PM - 09:00 PM
Sat	01:45 PM - 10:00 PM

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or conditions within the location, documenting findings as required by site protocols.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and guiding visitors as needed.
• Support healthcare staff and visitors by providing information and assistance related to security-related matters.
• Participate in emergency response activities, following established procedures for incidents such as fire alarms, medical emergencies, or other urgent situations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
