As a Security Officer Unarmed Loss Prevention Access Control Patrol in Moreland, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a retail location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents. You will conduct routine rounds, support access control and badge procedures, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and tenants by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.


• Respond to incidents, suspicious activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.


• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail and mall location, including common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations.


• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location to help deter unauthorized access, theft-related activity, and other policy violations.


• Document incidents, patrol observations, and maintenance or security-related concerns, and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.


• Customer service experience is preferred.


• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.


• Loss prevention experience is preferred.


• Access control and badge experience is preferred.


• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
