Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Computer Reporting in Moreland, GA. You will monitor and patrol assigned retail mall areas, deter incidents, support access control, and provide courteous customer service to tenants, shoppers, and employees.

Qualifications

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge processes is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail and mall common areas, parking areas, entrances, loading zones, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting suspicious conditions, maintenance concerns, and security-related incidents according to site procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain professional communication with site management, tenants, and Allied Universal leadership.

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Computer Reporting in Moreland, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a retail and mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and deliver exceptional customer service.
