Responsibilities

Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Hospital Security Driver in Corpus Christi, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. You may assist with sensitive hospital areas and situations while providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and surrounding property to help identify and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and escalating concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and wayfinding, and report unauthorized access or suspicious activity.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observed conditions accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Be able to work in a hospital morgue.
• Be able to restrain individuals.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
