Allied Universal in Petersburg, VA is seeking a Security Officer Patrol to safeguard facilities and provide excellent guest services in a healthcare setting. This unarmed role involves regular patrols, rapid response to incidents, and strong customer service.

You will carry out access-control tasks, support visitors and staff, and document activities for leadership. A guard card and CPR/First Aid are preferred, with a valid driver's license for driving posts as required.

As a Security Officer Patrol in Petersburg, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, clear communication, and prompt response to security-related concerns. Pay Rate: $18.80 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or potential security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical-related emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols.
• Assist with visitor management, directions, and access-related inquiries while maintaining a professional presence in patient care and public areas.
• Document patrol activities, incidents, and observations accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
