Allied Universal in Goodyear, AZ is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Hazard Identification to safeguard clients across logistics environments. You will patrol, monitor access, and provide top-notch customer service while upholding company values of teamwork, integrity and care.

The role is full-time, with day shifts and a pay rate of $20.50 per hour. A qualified candidate helps deter incidents, responds to incidents calmly, and documents observations for site leadership.

Qualifications

• Guard Card/License preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Allied Universal may consider applicants with criminal histories per applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local regulations and may be required before employment.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, vendors, and/or delivery personnel in accordance with site requirements.
• Document observations, incidents, and security-related activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
