Allied Universal in Goodyear, AZ is seeking a Security Officer - Swing Shift to protect client sites in logistics and distribution. You will maintain a visible presence, deter security incidents, and provide exceptional customer service while following company policies.

This full-time role pays $20.39 per hour and follows a DayTime schedule with multiple days per week, offering training and growth opportunities within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Guard Card/License preferred.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies, and respond to incidents as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and notify site contacts or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, and access points to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor location access by verifying credentials and observing visitors and vehicle activity.
• Document incidents and observations per Allied Universal reporting requirements.

Job Description

As a Security Officer - Swing Shift in Goodyear, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. Deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while contributing to a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and guided by integrity.

What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, delivery-area concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, access points, and the business perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, observing visitor and vehicle activity, and following site-specific entry and exit procedures.
• Document incidents, patrol observations, and unusual conditions in accordance with Allied Universal and site reporting requirements.

Minimum Requirements

• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
