Allied Universal, North America's leading security and facility services company, hires a Security Officer Unarmed Foot Patrol in Minneapolis, MN. This full-time position involves patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence, and delivering courteous service to tenants and visitors.

You will monitor and document activity, respond calmly to incidents, and complete reports following site procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures, providing clear directions and professional assistance as needed.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and other required documentation, communicating relevant observations to Allied Universal supervision and site representatives.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $19.45 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Tue: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Wed: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thur: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
