Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Armed Patrol Response in Minneapolis, MN for a part-time role. You will provide security, conduct regular armed patrols, deter incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service at a utilities location.

You will carry authorized firearms in compliance with laws and site procedures, meet requirements such as 2 years of law enforcement or related experience, an Armed Guard Card, be 21+, and hold a high school diploma.

• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and notification procedures.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate activity, incident, and patrol documentation.
• Maintain proficiency with assigned equipment and carry authorized firearms in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, Allied Universal policies, and site-specific procedures.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
