Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Armed Patrol Response in Minneapolis, MN for a part-time role at a utilities location. Pay rate is $25.60 per hour with DayTime and weekend shifts available. You will provide security and customer service, and uphold company policies.

Responsibilities include armed patrols, responding to incidents, and maintaining accurate records. Minimum 2 years of law enforcement or related field, Armed Guard Card, and 21+ years old are required.

• Maintain proficiency with issued equipment and carry firearms in compliance with laws and policies.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a utility location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and notification procedures.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate activity, incident, and patrol documentation.
• Maintain proficiency with assigned equipment and carry authorized firearms in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, Allied Universal policies, and site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
